One deciding factor in which college i chose to attend was the likelihood that i would be able to travel. I believe i made a great decision in coming to BV because every January there are at least three trips going on. One trip that really spoke out to me was the Global Fellows trip and the program i would become apart of if i am accepted. Being an environmental science major i think that doing a sustainability project that can focus what real field scientists do would be great experience and during the trip they climb a mountain and well its something on my bucket list. The program is competitive and only six students are selected through an essay competition. Hopefully next fall i will be one of them. Also a great thing about BV is the ability to study abroad and the connections that BV has to other universities make it very possible.
Maybe in the near future i could spend a summer in college, in Australia.
